Facebook Pixel, an invisible online monitor.

Interestingly, every action we take on the internet is being monitored by an invisible eye embedded in websites called The Facebook Pixel.

This unseen observer sits quietly in the background, taking note of every action we take on a site be it shopping, watching movies, or just skimming through articles and write-ups.

It keeps a tab on all our activities and syncs them to our Facebook account for future use to the benefit of the site owners.

In this post, you will discover how to install and use the Facebook pixel to track site visitors and improve the effectiveness of your social media campaigns.

WHAT IS FACEBOOK PIXEL?

Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that informs of a code that is inserted on a website to track visitors.

It tracks website visitors’ onsite behavior and links it to their Facebook profiles.

The pixel fires and tracks when someone takes an action on a website.

The data generated by the Facebook pixel tracker helps advertisers to target and retarget those users in the future.

Using a custom audience, they can gain more insights about the audience, send targeted messages to those that are aware of their brand.

They can also analyze the effectiveness of their social media campaigns and conversion funnels.
