How To See Who Saved Your Instagram Post
It is important to know that Instagram does not have any feature that allows creators to see who saved their posts.
But, you can still do something about it, though.
This is how you can find out who has saved your Instagram post.
Instagram allows users to create two types of accounts, namely; Personal, and Professional/Business accounts.
The Instagram business is equipped with an insight feature that can be used to discover how many people have saved your Instagram post.
This feature, however, is not available in the personal account.
You’ll need to switch to an Instagram Business Profile to accomplish this.
How To Switch Your Personal Instagram Account To A Business Account
You can switch to an Instagram business account from the Settings tab on your page.
Go to Settings > Account > Switch to Business account or Creator Account, then follow the onscreen instruction to complete your profile.
Activate Instagram Insights if you want to learn more about your followers.
As mentioned earlier, Instagram has a tool called insight that gives you a detailed breakdown of how well your posts are performing on the network.
This tool is only accessible on business accounts.
Content providers that wish to track their social media performance will find the insight tool quite useful.
Because people are allowed to save posts anonymously on Instagram feed without revealing their identities, you won’t be notified when someone saves your post, and you won’t be able to tell who saved your photos.
Ask your Instagram followers If They Have Saved Your Posts.
The only way to see who has saved your instagram post, or content is to follow this simple technique.
1. Select the post you’d like to inquire about from your followers, and take a screenshot of it.
2. Return to your main Instagram feed, using the Home symbol.
3.Create a new Instagram Story, by clicking on the Stories icon in the top left corner.
4. Locate the screenshot of your Instagram post you took earlier, and add it to your Story, by simply clicking on it.
5.Send a message to your followers, using the Text icon. Simply type something like “Who saved this post?” or something similar.
6. When you’re satisfied, click on Done, then, Publish the story by clicking on it.
Your Followers will reply via a direct message.
Check How Many Times Your Post has been Saved
Now that you have created or switched to a business account, you can view who saved your Instagram posts.
On Instagram Profile, select the post you want to find out who has saved, by clicking on it.
Then, Select the ‘‘View Insights’’ just below the Post. This will display your Instagram Stats.
It’ll take you to your Instagram stats, where you can see the number of people that have liked and saved your post.
There is no way to see who saved your Instagram posts or to which categories it was saved without asking your followers.
Privacy is most likely the cause for this restriction; because of privacy concerns, Instagram has not made this feature available
However, you can see how many people have liked and commented on your post in addition to the number of times it has been saved.
It’s more crucial to see who saves your Instagram posts than it is to track the number of likes because saving a post to an Instagram Account indicates that the person not only loves it but is also willing to share it or refer back to it.
You’ll also be able to see how many people have shared your post.
